​This is la semaine de la fierté francaise and we will be playing French songs at break, French versions of O’Canada each morning and our trivia will be in French today as well. Il faut etre fier de notre culture francaise ici au Nouveau Brunswick, la seule province officiellement bilingue au Canada !

Athletics:  Volleyball Intramurals – Serve Volley Goat vs Daddy’s Donkeys and game 2, The Spikers vs all Stars

The JV Girls Volleyball Team list is posted. Thank you to all girls who tried out, lots of talent and it was difficult to narrow it down to 12 players. Stay tuned for practice times.

The JV Boys Volleyball tryouts will continue Wed and Thurs 6-7:30pm for those on the call back list.

And for those who come in for morning Open Gym, don’t forget the schedule has changed and there is no Open Gym on Wednesday mornings now.

Wellness Centre:  

Writing Club: The Writing Club will meet with Mme Page today in room 205 during the second part of lunch.

Art: The Photography Club will meet today during second half of lunch in the art room.

The Art room will be open at lunch this week for GRADE 6 students only who are working to complete art projects.

Library:  Have you checked out the March Madness book tournament happening in the library this month? Take a look at the library bulletin board each week and vote on your favorite book series and see what one comes out on top. Voting ballots available at the Librarian’s desk.

Music:  Hello Singing Club!  You have rehearsal today after school!  It ends at 4pm.

Tech:  Tech room computers will only be available for grade 7 students who have not completed their work, this is in effect until the end of the term.

PRIDE Passes – Thanking a grade 8 student who provided support for a new classmate, making her feel welcome. And another grade 8 student keeps the class organized for everyone.

Other: Keep bringing in your can tabs. We finish Term 2 this week and we’ll award points for the top collectors.
